School founded in Dundlod, Rajasthan as a one-room
school house by the students and professors in the
Learn and Serve in India program at the State
University of New York College at Oneonta. There are
50 students.

July 1997
Indo-International School moves to the former stable
of a 17th century fort provided by the royal couple
of Dundlod, Raghuvendra and Ganga Singh.

Donation campaign begins to raise $30,000 to set up
a trust for Indo-International School in Dundlod.

April 1999
French benefactor, Frank Mulliez, visiting school on
a safari gives $25,000 donation for construction of
a new six-room facility.

Dec. 1999
Indo-International School is named a “Gift of
Service to the World” at the Parliament of Worlds
Religions in Cape Town, South Africa and is
presented to the Dalai
Lama.

Jan. 2000
The
Ninash
Foundation and students in SUNY Oneonta’s Learn
and Serve in India program, open the new, six room
school building for the Indo-International school.
SUNY students paint a mural for the school. A play
ground is constructed. There are 160 students

Donation campaign to raise $30,000 to set up a trust
for the Indo-International School in Dundlod is
completed.

Jan. 2001
Dr. Alan Donovan, President of SUNY Oneonta joins
the SUNY group to open the new library building
containing over a 1000 books.. The first computer is
set up and Dr. Donovan sends the first e-mail to
Mayor Kim Muller in Oneonta, NY. Mayor Kim Muller
signs a proclamation declaring Dundlod and Oneonta as sister
cities. Vocational Center for 20 illiterate women of
Dundlod and surrounding community is opened. There
are 200 students.

Jan. 2001
Dundlod, four new rooms are constructed, making the
building a complete square with a court yard in the
middle. The computer room is set up.

Jan. 2001
Devastating earthquake leaves 600,000 homeless in
the state of Gujarat. Dr. Malhotra meets with the
elders of Kuran village and Swami Dharamandhu.
With the help of other non-profits organizations,
The Ninash Foundation gives financial support which
hastens up the construction of p homes for Kuran and a new school.

June 2001
Dr. Malhotra opens the second Indo-International
School in Kuran, Gujarat. Ten school rooms have been
constructed. There are 200 students.

Jan. 2003
The Ninash Foundation and students in SUNY Oneonta’s
Learn and Serve in India program open a new library
in Kuran Indo-International School. New carpets and
desks are purchased. There are 208 students.

Jan. 2003
Laid the foundation stone for the third
Indo-International Art Restoration School in
Mahapura,
near Jaipur.
The
foundation is currently raising funds to build
this school. Different than the other
Indo-International schools, in addition to literacy,
this school will teach the students a vocation of
restoring restore ancient stained glass
windows in monuments.

Jan. 2003
Dundlod Indo-International School is with
245 students, welcomed the SUNY group speaking
in English. We celebrated the sixth anniversary of
the Dundlod School with a performance entirely in
English that the
children put on for the community . This school is thriving. We hope one day to
raise enough money to build a second level which
will include a high school.

Dundlod is beautiful! The courtyard in the middle has
a mogul garden and new grass is outside at the play ground. There are
currently 250 children and a waiting list that consists of 300 children
waiting to get in to our school. Currently, there are 300 children
waiting to get into the school.

Project Hunger was started for 50 poorest
of poor children who are fed balanced meals. The Ninash
Foundation committed to
build a new kitchen and pledged enough money to feed the
children for two more years. It cost $100 a month to feed 50 children.
Our goal is to feed at least 100 children a month. |

July 2005
Craig and Susan Vancott donate enough
money to ensure that our new high school is built. The
high school will be built on the second level.

works hard to paint the Ninash logo and the school.

The Hunger Project in Dundlod is currently feeding 350 children, the entire student body. That comes to $700 to feed these children per month.
