AWARDS:

Bertil Gejrot Poetry Award in India (2013): Students and teachers, who show interest in poetry by reading, reciting and writing poems, will receive poetry books of their choice as awards.

Reading Awards in each school in India (2012—13): Students, who read the largest number of books, are given books of their own choice as awards.

East-West Philosophy Awards for College Students in USA: Two to four awards are given each year to college students, who have written outstanding papers on East-West Philosophy for the Undergraduate Philosophy Conference at SUNY Oneonta, New York.

Music and Drama Awards for Elementary Schools (USA): Two awards are given to students at the Oneonta Center Street Elementary School, who have made substantial improvement in the fields of Music and Dramatics. Students are selected by the Music and the Drama Department.

Seva (Compassionate Service) Award:  Medallions are given to the Oneonta Valley View Elementary School students, who have participated in service to their school and community.

Band Instruments for Oneonta Elementary School Students: As part of a broad commitment to the arts and education, the Ninash Foundation helps purchase instruments for students at the Center Street Elementary School, who otherwise would not be able to afford to participate in the band. When students graduate, the instruments are retained by the school for other needy students. Musical instruments are also bought for the Riverside Elementary School in Oneonta.

Music and Drama Awards at Oneonta High School: Two awards are given to students, who have made substantial improvement in the fields of Music and Dramatics. Students are selected by the Music and the Drama Departments of the High School.
